Magic Castle
CHILD CARE & EARLY YEARS PROGRAMS
Newborn to 12 years old
The Magic Castle is a free child-minding service for children from birth to -12 years old who have a family member undergoing treatment at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Mothercraft early childhood educators take care of your children so that you can go to your appointment or visit family at the Princess Margaret. We also welcome children who are patients themselves.
Located in a large bright playroom on the main floor of the Princess Margaret, the Magic Castle provides a fun and nurturing environment, where children can play and express themselves creatively in a safe space. We support children’s learning and well-being with age-appropriate, play-based activities delivered through a caring relationship with a registered early childhood educator.
We also help children and families touched by cancer by providing or recommending additional resources based on individual circumstances.
