Siblings/Mothercraft transfers at all locations
Mothercraft has opted into the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program. Initiated and funded by the Government of Canada, this is a historic new program that supports quality, accessible, affordable, and inclusive early learning in licensed childcare settings. CWELCC is a five-year plan that is being implemented in stages, with the aim of reaching an average fee of $10.00 per day by 2025-2026. The parent portion of the monthly fee rates vary by centre and are based on age groupings.

All taxes are included in the monthly fee.
All snacks and meals are included. Formula and diapers are not included in fees and are supplied by parents.

Mothercraft does not offer part-time care.
Mothercraft employs cooks who prepare fresh meals and snacks each day. Our menus are reviewed annually by a Registered Dietician or Nutritionist. We follow the guidelines of the Child Care and Early Years Act and adhere to the Canada Food Guide. We are able to accommodate most dietary restrictions/allergies.
We are closed on statutory holidays, Easter Monday, and the days between Christmas and New Year’s Day. There are early closures on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
There is no cost to place your name on the waitlist.
Send your application to your preferred CED and, if you are also interested in other locations, indicate those Centres on the form.
Yes, children must be on a Mothercraft waitlist in addition to the City of Toronto’s subsidized list. You can download our waitlist form from the Mothercraft website.
Wait times vary from Centre to Centre and depend on availability of spaces, age of the child, and priority. Contact your preferred Centre for further information.
Yes, in most cases, your child will be enrolled in the next age group when space becomes available. We do our best to ensure children move smoothly from one age group to the next.
We will contact you only when we are able to offer you a child care space. Feel free to contact us at any time to check your status. Please be sure to notify us if there are any changes to your contact information.
You can contact the Manager of your preferred Centre at any time to arrange a tour of the facilities.
